And so the billionaires win again as we fight to justify not being assholes to one another.

Europe seems to be doing alright. Democracy is doing better there than anywhere else right now. There are much worse organizations and regimes, and we need more unity in the world, not less, right now.

I hear too many people taking the stability of the modern world entirely for granted. Do be you want the US to remain the hegemon? China? Russia? Who?

And parenthood.

I mean we consider human babies adorable, and they can grow up do some pretty horrid things. Also cats.

Hope you're right and he just got his ins and outs mixed up. Or maybe poo play is just the done thing in his culture. 🤣

Yeah nah I'm not disagreeing, it's just really weird as well. 🚩

"before she dies" English has a conjugation for that... There shouldn't be a misunderstanding. What a weird post.

You can talk about the past without reminding others of that particular memory. They're all thinking it anyway.

Our current leadership are a bunch of muppets.

They're not even putting existing roads first for safety and active modes improvements. Instead, they want to build more "roads of national significance" or basically big expensive motorways. Better rural connections are needed but there are bigger priorities for the economy that would actually support and encourage growth.

I'm not clever enough to do anything but let the meme speak for itself.

Someone glorious on Lemmy made this for me a while back, and it seems to be becoming more and more apt. Enjoy.

Among other talents! 🍺 (sauce)
