Gegen 10:30 Uhr war der 46-Jährige gerade damit beschäftigt, seinen VW Golf zu Saugen, als von hinten der Honda einer 79-jährigen in sein Auto rammte.

Die Frau hatte zuvor selbst ihr Auto in der Nachbarbox gereinigt und war dann schwungvoll rückwärts in den Golf gekracht. Der Mann wurde von dem Aufprall umgestoßen und musste im Krankenhaus behandelt werden, laut Polizei entstand ein Sachschaden von rund 25.000 Euro.

Bei der Frage wie es zu dem Unfall kam, gab die Fahrerin an, dass sich ein Teppich unter ihr Bremspedal geschoben hätte und sie deshalb ihr Auto mit Automatik-Getriebe nicht bremsen konnte.

Wie sieht die zahnmedizinische Versorgung von Geflüchteten im Detail aus? Wie häufig nehmen sie Leistungen in Anspruch? Und was lässt sich daraus ableiten? Mit diesen Fragen haben sich Gesundheitswissenschaftler*innen der Universität Bielefeld befasst. Im vergangenen Herbst wurde öffentlich über die zahnmedizinische Versorgung abgelehnter Asylbewerber*innen diskutiert und darüber, wie häufig sie eine solche Versorgung in Anspruch nehmen. Die vorliegende Studie legt nahe: Geflüchtete werden im Vergleich zur Gesamtbevölkerung deutlich seltener zahnärztlich behandelt.
