My guy, us jews never had good will with anyone. We have always been used as tokens for politican leverage. Us jews don't really have a universal symbol of our faith. Israeli flag doesn't automatically equal zionism in my mind. It's a bit different now, but especially when I was growing up, all my peers and I viewed said flag the same way we view the cross.
