Odd. I could have sworn I was responding to someone else entirely.

I fully believe that even the stuff that the left focuses on is actually encouraged by the right because it's the most in your face contentious stuff

Can you give a more specific example or two of some grating behavior or contentious claims/statements that demonstrate this problem?

mixed with "don't communicate with the right they're Hitler's all of them"

While I don't believe the right is all Hitlers, are we able to agree that at least some small subset of them and of their leadership have truly disturbing ideals and goals that could fairly be compared to those of Nazis?

How do you address individuals who support those people - whether knowingly or in ignorance - without upsetting them, offending them, or putting them on the defensive?

Quick Internet search.... https://ourworldindata.org/wild-mammals-birds-biomass

They are referring to biomass.

  • 1 cow ~ 1200 lbs / 545 kg

  • 1 rat ~ 0.5 lbs / 0.25 kg

1 cow ~ 2400 rats by biomass

My ex would use St. Ives "Apricot Exfoliant" or something, which has powdered apricot pits and walnut shells. Those are waste products that I wouldn't expect to cause problems but who knows.

To be frank, this is how you fight an administration/party that follows the rules. What this will likely do is just get TST disqualified as a religion and/or disallowed for some bullshit reason.

Republicans don't play fair and give fuck-all about rules unless they work in their benefit. That includes Republican politicians, Republican senators, Republican representatives, Republican appointmented judges, and Republican appointed Supreme Court justices.

While I appreciate the game, the rules are whatever is convenient for Republicans. The game has changed.

I'm calling it now. Musk will fund Cuomo or Adams for the ~~Israel~~ America Party's first candidate, for Mayor of NYC. The current record for election spending in NYC mayoral elections will get doubled. Media will be overwhelmed with racist, reactionary ads highlighting anything Mamdani has ever said, and some things he hasn't said, about Israel and linking him to Hamas and other terrorist organizations. Chuck Schumer will have no choice but to change parties, for the sake of ~~Israel~~ America and endorse the third party candidate.

I mean, this was their idea last year...

Forever "Subscription Mouse"

I feel like "AI Mouse" is right up their alley.

It doesn't negate the possibility that they were raised to think that way. Of course, it is always possible that they are just a Heartless Snaggletooth Cunt. I just don't think it's fair to assume that of all of them, or that all of them can't be taught at least a little compassion.

How about something like

"It sucks that your are struggling and were conned by those in power. We're struggling too. How about we work together now and fix things for everyone? Here's how I think we could do that..."

[–] theparadox@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Here's the thing... the people in power right now are trying to make new generations of Nazi fucks out of young people. Continue this insanity.

Gutting education and every fucking system we've tried to put in place to help people and show that things can be better. They're being taught that it isn't the fault of the rich man who won't let you take a bathroom break! He's just trying to scrape by while being robbed by the tax man! If only they'd give him a break then he could afford to pay you better. Really, it's the fault of your fellow worker because he's an immigrant, or your neighbor because he's disabled, or your kid's friend because he isn't not masculine enough, or your wife's fault for selfishly working instead of staying home and raising your boy right...

Sure, they helped with their votes but it's the people in power who are actually doing it. Those same same rich fucks that are also paying for propaganda and astroturfing and silencing the criticism.

I agree the actual post is a bit too on the nose, but I'm honestly a bit more concerned with the comments.
