In this case, and for a lot of other studios, Embracer went on a buying spree some time ago, betting that a deal worth $2 billion with Saudis would go through. It didn't, and now they are forcing cost cuts across all studios they own.

If it is what I'm thinking of, it's a known firefox bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1807420

Take a look at some of the templates available at Overleaf: https://www.overleaf.com/latex/templates

I don't have a link to it right now, but I use LaTeX to format my CV. It makes it much easier to add new sections and keep everything consistent.

Yep, been using it for 7 years now, couldn't be happier.

My comment was mostly tongue in cheek, but I agree with you.

Based on how weird some of the sentences sound, (to me) it looks like the slides were translated from another language into English, which could explain the odd naming (and grammatical errors).

Agreed on community follows, as - IMO - it would do so much to fix the scattering of discussions. Instead of having 5 posts of the same link, each with only one or two comments, you would have only one post with all the comments.

This could solve not only the lack of activity problem, but also the duplication of posts on the frontpage.

I've been using Twinkle Tray for some time and found it pretty useful.

It's really good to see this spreading to more manufacturers (although I'm not sure if this will also apply to their lower range devices). Especially because even though your OS updates may be capped at 4 years, you will still receive app updates for 2+ more years, including system apps. As opposed to iOS, where your system apps stop at your last update and developers bump minimum OS versions quite quickly.

In my country, they are mostly coming from less tech-literate users. I have seen:

  • It was installed without consent
  • You can't uninstall it
  • Google is installing for financial benefits
  • It's a virus that installed by itself
  • It's being used to spy on people
  • Useless app meant to fill phone memory

And many more colorful things.

I made a comment about this some time ago:

I came across GreenStash sometime ago.

If it's not what you are looking for, take a look at the "Expense Managers" section here. It lists both FOSS and proprietary apps.

Pocket Casts recently open-sourced both their android and iOS apps:

But the backend is still closed-source.

Looks like some minor refreshes to the design, which is nice. Thank god they still aren't using Google's quick settings style.

My only skepticism is the new expanded quick settings; I fear putting Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the top of the screen will just make it harder to reach them.
