Similar boat. A lifetime of off and on depression, manic episodes, the works. Finally in control, stable, emotionally mature, and happy. Cheers! Very happy for you.

All right, what is one of the experiences that you had when you talk about experiencing so much in so little time that had a profound effect in some way? Also, pineapple on pizza yay or nay? (There is a wrong answer where we can't be pals. Jk, but I will judge you.)

Yeah, but they're storing so much data only orgs with a lot of funding could participate, so it'd still be in the hands of wealthy parties.

AI can't do the work of anyone. It's a cover story so they save face as they slash jobs.

Hey, finally some positive news out of Texas.

"I believe marriage is a sacred covenant and I have earnestly pursued reconciliation," she wrote. "But in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage. I move forward with complete confidence that God is always working everything together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose."

Of course she's a braindead christian who has to frame everything through her faith.

Since February, the Trump administration has averaged 14,700 deportations per month. That’s far below the monthly average of 36,000 in 2013, the year with the most deportations during the Obama administration.

Too bad his dumbass supporters don't get their news from factual sources. I'm sure they think he's doing 10x the previous highest numbers.

Shaun Maguire is a closeted white nationalist.

At least the religious idiots who have nine or twelve children will go bankrupt.

Don't worry, SCOTUS will let him do it.

After reading that article, there's every reason in the world for Trump to supress the documents. Too bad his idiot fans won't turn on him no matter how many times he hurts them.

At the end of 2023 I got a job working for the state in a government office. It's awesome. Unions and people tend to stay until they retire. I would heavily recommend for anyone who can. Heads up that it takes a really long time to get hired.

I saw this in a theater when it came out. I recently recommended it to a friend who really enjoyed it. Something made me think of it this morning so I thought I'd promote it to people who probably never heard about it.

Until now, we only had fragments of these cousins. Now we have face. Studying our evolutionary development and our sister-species is one of my favorite aspects of archeology. We’re constantly developing new information.

Side note: look up the initial presentation of Homo naledi. The leading archeologist did a phenomenal talk a couple of years ago (I think in December). It was really an exciting presentation. But I’m also pretty nerdy.

The website failed, went to an error page, and then charged my credit card the wrong amount of $64.70. I received a confirmation email saying I’ll receive a confirmation when my order has been shipped, but I haven’t provided a shipping address or paid the full $499 price tag. It is the worst experience I’ve ever faced buying a consumer electronic product and I have no idea whether or how I’ll receive the phone.

I look forward to learning more about how terrible these phones turn out.

The Johnsons claim that the RNC sent Samantha 17 messages from 16 different phone numbers, nine of the messages after she demanded the messages stop 12 times. Cari received 27 messages from 25 numbers, they claim, and she sent 20 stop requests.

I know my phone gets blasted to hell every election season.

Personally, I was shocked that they did the thing that people have been asking them to do for years. I expected them to continue to dig their heels in and ship another halfstep / half-assed measure.

I think I might get TACO Bell for lunch.
