What makes you assume children (want to) have long term objectives?

The point of blockchains is decentralization, and as Lemmy users we know that decentralized services are difficult to make popular, even if they're an improvement over their competitors.

Because they want their voice chats to be monitored?

Your comment kinda reads like an ad.

I find any non-default emoji colour weird. Like why do you feel the need to tell me your skin colour?

I'm not sure what you're arguing.

Yes, the US has a large amount of wealth. That is what makes them strong.

they ought to perform better

So you're saying they should be even stronger (than the strongest nation to ever exist)?

Or are you saying that "strength" is not about the total power one has, but about the efficiency with which one can convert resources into power?

at least they're politely asking i guess

But KW/h/y is dumb so lets just make it KW/h

It's kW, not KW/h.

These people aren't "you".

I could make a similar statement:

Child? You're literally being abused and raped by your parents on a regular basis.

This statement is true for a lot more children than the prior statement is for black people.

It's still a stupid statement.

No, being a child doesn't mean you'll be abused and being black doesn't mean you'll be attacked.

I hope someone forks this and creates an i2p browser, similar to the Tor browser.

Why don't I get paid for professionally posting on Lemmy? Why don't I get paid for professionally sitting on my couch?

Just because you're doing something doesn't mean you should be paid for it.

Athletes aren't paid very little because of being oppressed. They are paid very little because of their work being of very little (if any) worth.
