so the call recording stays on the device yet they added a tos for it?

this is just a response to apple offering this function on iphones.
for ages google blocked call recording and since apple started implementing it they turned it on now? lol.
the listed alternatives wont give much performance boost.
skip and wait the newer phones with bigger batteries 7000mah+ and with better new gen soc/cpu/gpu.
i hoped there are some config values that i am unaware of to do the changes i want.
open source = some parts of the code can be open at best, it isnt what it sound. license matters. this word is just a trick.
yet, i wouldnt count on someone auditing code, there was lots of big projects with trully open code that had bad code injected for decades and noone noticed.
as much as i know, those extensions call back on developer server for updates/new filters etc. so i skip.
software too i unboxed a new pixel, started to set it up and all of a sudden, a lot of system apps started to crash. returned it next hour.
these days all website run on javascript and budget devices have poor cpu performance which translate in slow loading of web pages.
not to mention the telephone part is crap too, junk microphone, junk ear speaker, weak signal etc.
just for phone calls better i'd get an old nokia dumbphone
i would replace the battery and put lineageos on it.
the new devices dont give that much performance and the prices on those are not worth it.
it needs to be a smartphone with android

what most people do is wrong in most cases. elaboration goes nowhere and in general just derails the topic more.
an extension has access to eveything you visit. it tracks you and sells/shares your data. not to mention potential bad code injection.
waste of time. cat and mouse game.
you should know if you are recorded. its a good thing.
