What’s wrong with it?

American movies have a strong flavor of fascism, and related, and it’s not new
Clinton killed more in Iraq with deliberate destruction of water treatment plants, sanctions and attacks on energy grids.
Yes, it has been the plan, was the plan. Paper ballots have been gone already for decades for most states.
Most Americans never noticed a democracy slip away from them. They participated in a voting ritual, yes, but left the ballot counting to their enemies and totally trusted them
So, I’m just sort of typing without thinking about it much. But Trump will never step down, it’s an impossible demand, but it’s incendiary enough for orange face to not ignore it. This remains in the press cycle because it’s personal to him, there will be constant agitation by police and agencies against the protesters who just stay or regroup.
Assuming the original protesters stay the course, this will attract more and more participants because Trump himself, and the gop, will keep it in the news.
This is a positive growth cycle; eventually the demand will be the entire White House vacate when there enough protestors, and it’s now a revolution, peaceful it may be
5,000 (+- some) dedicated people who communicated well with each other and others. Who were willing to just stay in the streets until the government changed. The only one demand given: the president had to step down.
I’ve seen revolutions start with less, but America is large.
it’s marked with deep, wide incisions, and they contain traces of red pigment. The boomerang was clearly made to be used, but it wasn’t purely utilitarian; someone wanted this thing to look cool while it was whizzing through the air.
I’m in Texas, and lived next door to a young couple where the woman had a non viable fetus grow inside her for many months until she had a scheduled c-section near term.
They had a medical team of several doctors monitoring her, and because these complications could kill the mom suddenly, they were ready to go to the hospital 24/7 for months.
No domestic abuse that I know of, but it ruined their relationship and they still have not spoken to each other after the divorce.
The sad thing is the perpetrators will never be tried; Gaza will be depopulated, and most of the western press and social media will stop talking about it in ten years. The new resorts will be made and many will visit with a scarce nod to the previous inhabitants
And the true count may never be known ; the survivors will be scattered across dozens of camps and hundreds of places.
There was a battle in the 300s over a stupid bridge; now I have to deal with pesky Christian missionaries
Demand ballot counting like most the other democracies in the world have now.
It’s really foolish to think oneself a democracy but depend on vote counts that are not recounted or verified by humans , but left to a handful of private companies. Even if your state has ok counting, you still dependent on other states that don’t, to decide the federal government .
Americans have faith in a system they refuse to think much about, and would not understand if they did, because it’s hidden behind trade secrets. They naively assume such things are monitored by ethical experts, when no such checks exist.
Private companies determine your primaries and government, and they are not double checked. Most states flunk standard tests for ballot stuffing. And the exit polls are off by so much that the mainstream press stopped using them recently.
It’s just a weird complex system that is supported by faith
*spelling fix
I use 5 different browsers including brave, each have their strengths.
All the technical points mentioned there are not really relevant to me, because I turned off that other stuff.
Would I trust it with my really sensitive data? No. Do I have respect for the people behind the browser? Some of them are ok, some not. Honestly, using American tech it’s hard to swing a cat around in a room and not hit a nazi
But when it’s better than the Firefox forks or Chrome, I see no reason not to use it for those use cases. It does its job well.
