It's only an issue like once or twice a year. Thanks for calling me out on my dehydration issues, lol. But thank you for real for your exhaustive replies!

I feel ya, I'd also rather avoid looking at pictures or videos if i can avoid it. I have two kryptonites: heights irl and holes online.
Do you know if the holes are just pockets or tubes with entrance and exits, meaning you can push/flush down into the tonsils or have to scrape up/flush to overflow?
I have had to battle mine occasionally recently and I've just been trying to push them up and out by scraping upwards with a utensil. I've also tried with the toothbrush bristles (surprisingly painful) and a toothpick (risky). Nothing feels particularly right or easy.
Hunger is the best flavouring, company is the second best.
If you're not actually hungry and not eating together, snacking isn't always worth it.
Also, don't forget to flush tonsil stones! Those things are nasty.
How?
I wouldn't wait to read something I actually want to read, because life and death is unpredictable.
I would rather plan to reread a book at different stages of life and find out how much I've changed by how differently feel about the same story.
Or I'd (re)read something like House of Leaves, just because it'd be very funny to have that type of book be the thing that finally kills me.
Any form of gambling.
Console memberships: having to pay monthly to use the games I already paid for, on the console I already paid for, to access the internet I already pay for.
Organ donor card. It's all registered online/electronically now, so not necessary at all, but it feels right still to keep it with me wherever I may get run over or mauled by geese so as to not let any organs go to waste.
Do you have a chip reader? Are they expensive?
You will function without meda as you are functioning now without meds. It may feel like a bigger hurdle when you know things can be easier, but as long as you keep up your strategies for functioning you will not lose anything. You'll only gain better days - even if they are not every day.
Plus grief is a lot easier to deal with when you have better emotional regulation, like with meds.
The show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has soooo many songs that could fit, this is just a few trying to keep to the relatively spoiler free ones:
Unhinged (healthy) : "let's generalize about men"
Unhinged (unhealthy): "I'm not sad, you're sad"
Trying to be fully hinged: "without love you can save the world"
I really recommend people to watch the show to find the rest and the best, rather than just the songs/clips. Some of them atäre truly elevated by context, and some are excellent standalone but too spoiler imo.
If even just a little sway is good for the brain, imagine the incredible effects headbanging must have..!
