I haven't been using Reddit since the API stuff happened last summer, but when the GB announcement #2 came out recently, I visited the exjw subreddit and there is some great stuff going on there. I'm DF'd and have been out for a long time, but the posts over there have had me both sad and angry.

There was a time not that long ago when you could count the amount of decent British underground bands on just one hand but now they seem to be popping up every other day. Outer Head are both decent and British so go check 'em out.

BLACK RAINBOWS also shows a more melodic and softer side. Not only one of my favorite albums of the year so far, but arguably their best work to date.

This is something that I made last fall, I think. Used Midjourney with the --tile parameter. The prompt was something about concrete and lichen. When tiled, it has some strong horizontal directionality. A person could always rotate it if they needed vertical or diagonal.
