TL, DR; scientists using the Subaru telescope have found a new “sednoid” i.e. small body object with a highly elliptical orbit, moving from 66AU to many hundreds. The direction of its orbit likely disproves the “9th planet” theory as its ellipse is in a totally different direction to the previously discovered sednoids .
