There is no way it doesn't get propped up by the government at this rate. AI is the next big weapon in, well, everything digital. And they won't want other countries having the biggest stick.

I mean, AI is getting genuinely terrifying.

Educational: if you have a phone, you have access to almost all of human knowledge, largely for free.

Physical: I've seen people without legs do things people with able bodies won't or can't do.

Finances: I've seen single mothers work three jobs to put food on the table while going to school for nursing at the same time

If you truly have the will, there is always a way. I'm not saying it's easy, but you absolutely can.

No it isn't. Go work a trade job like being an electrician. Start early enough and put it in a 401k and other such investments and you will retire a millionaire.

Which is less labor than the original task? What's your point? I can get a lawnmower for a few hours of work and it would save me hundreds compared to whatever they used before.

Nah, the Greek Titan. Worth reading?

I don't know, it's probably save me a couple hundred hours so far. Maybe more. It is genuinely incredibly powerful for coding (When used correctly)

Your absolutely right.

Well personally I'd create some kind of review board to identify who probably shouldn't be let go. I would be surprised if the net hasn't caught people who best not be walking our streets. Otherwise IMO, any deaths caused by the person after you let them go is on you for facilitating their release into the public.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they are largely bad people, but blanket releases are stupid and dangerous. Expedience is key though so forming that board and getting them whatever they need would be high priority since every day they are detained is another day their family is without them.

I'm not talking semantics, I'm asking what your argument is so we can get on the same page.

My point is the chat bot is designed to emulate a person's behavior and it's motivation is defined by a person.

Please describe what exactly taking over means to you. Because if someone got admin access to my computer, I'd call it taking over even if they only did it to mute my PC.

An AI does have intent. Its intent is to solve what you asked it however it can.

I mean, what terminology did you want? Technically a PC with access like that could let ChatGPT SSH into near by PCs and run commands on them. During the hugging face incident it did take over OpenAIs dev cluster
