After a few longer trips, getting a consistent 120 miles at highway speed before it's close to dead. No idea how many at street level speeds, but more than plenty.

Agreed, especially in Lemmy where accounts are bound to instances that you may not stick with. I'm a good example. I've been on Lemmy for over a year, but just abandoned my account on lemmy.world because I kind of hated it there lol.
If I was on a doomed space station and this was the only way back home, I think I'd at least want the option.
