"Baby rescued from apartment after single-mother tragically died days earlier"

Didn't think it was that difficult

Is it not simply a matter of contract anyway? The states agree to pay the federal government in exchange for the security and cooperation that the federation brings. If the federal government is no longer holding up it's end of that agreement no matter the reason, why should the States be obligated to remain in that agreement?

I'm sorry to inform you, but that's not how democracy works. You, the collective you, voted for Trump. I'm sorry that you didn't want this and I don't want to blame you personally, but you are not apart from this.

It is good news in the sense that someone is in trouble and they are helping him when they didn't have to.

The circumstances of how he is in trouble are a separate issue and one that I find so strange for a supposedly civilised nation to have.

But you guys keep voting for republicans and choosing undemocratic corporate rule over elected government rule.

Why is it seen as preferable to allow a greedy corporation you can't get rid of to have more power over you than the government you can (supposedly) vote out?

Disagree, every ruling the scotus makes that overturns a lesser court judge makes their opposition to established law clearer. If cases went straight to scotus, it would appear that legal opinion was unanimous and not that scotus have a politically motivated agenda.

Were you expecting breaking bad and game of thrones to be comedy?

The problem with pound land was always that they not only made their USP "everything for a pound" they baked it into their name and whole premise. So when inflation inevitably devalued the pound too far, little by little the number of items available at £1 dropped along with the quality of the products.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was to find out they had stuff in there that cost more than a pound. And what is the point of a pound shop that doesn't sell anything at a pound.

Pretty sure that Musk has realised he alienated his prior fan base by courting this government so publicly and passionately.

Now he is trying to reclaim his former status by attacking the Trump admin thinking the left will love him for it. Trouble with that is, petulent is not a good look, nor is appearing not to have an allegiance to anything but money. His mask has slipped and that won't be forgotten, he did a nazi salute twice on the international stage ffs. No one is going to see Musk as a champion for the left or the environment again.

Not only has he screwed Tesla by making them unfashionable, he's now screwed SpaceX by pissing off a major source of income.

But we are still to believe that the guy is a financial genius and not just lucky, right?

Democratic political strategy

Every decade has its musical style that generally makes it easy to place what decade a song was written in if you haven't heard it before.

40s big band

50s rock and roll

60s essentially has its genre named after the decade or at least I can't think of anything I'd call a genre.

70s punk and beginnings of heavy metal, disco

80s electro synth, rap

90s grunge, dance, R&B, trance

Etc etc. Obviously these don't entirely define the music of the decade but are highly recognisable genres that can more often than not pinned down to a decade.

So my question is, since the 2000s I don't see as much differentiation but that might be because I'm too old (44) and not as exposed to be music as I was in my teens, so help me pretend I'm "hip" and "with it" by giving me some clues. I'm curious to know what you think defines the music of the 2020s, what defines the 2010s and what defines the 2000s. I.e. When someone says they are going to listen to noughties music what do they put on? Etc. Or have we reached a point where music has been explored to the point new genres are much rarer to establish?

The Geneva convention was established to minimise atrocities in conflicts. Israeli settlements in Gaza are illegal and violate the Geneva convention. Legality of Israeli settlements Article 51 of the Geneva convention prohibits indiscriminate attacks on civilian population yet Israel attacked hospitals with children inside. Whether you agree or not that Hamas were present, children cannot be viewed as combatants.so when no care was taken to protect them, does this not constitute a violation? According to save the children, 1 in 50 children in Gaza had been killed or injured. This is a very high proportion and does not show care being taken to prevent such casualties and therefore constitutes a violation.

So my question is simply, do supporters of Israel no longer support our believe in the Geneva convention, did you never, or how do you reconcile Israeli breaches of the Geneva convention? For balance I should add "do you not believe such violations are occurring and if so how did you come to this position?"

Answers other than only "they have the right to go after Hamas " please. The issue is how they are going after Hamas, not whether they should or not.

EDIT: Title changed to remove ambiguity about supporting Israel vs supporting their actions
