My favorite one is "Just add multiplayer".

Sure. I'll just go right ahead and toggle it in the engine. Why didn't I think of that?

Diablo4 has memory leak issues. As a software engineer myself, I just don't see any excuse for a game this long in production to have memory leak problems.

There is no doubt that a lot of games are getting rushed without being properly tested.

This still cracks me up even though I heard it so many years ago

app.rvx.android.youtube

It mimicks YouTube premium. Has built-in AdBlock and sponsor block.

There is also SmartTube for your Android TV.

Sometimes it's a bit glitchy, but it does what it's supposed to. Google doesn't like these apps very much of course, so you won't find them on Google Play.

They won't give you access to paid content, but they'll remove all the BS

Maybe you were upvoting things that Reddit was finding against their ToS?

I suppose anything is possible. Or maybe it's because I like pineapple on pizza, I wrote about that once too

I think the magical powers one might be more realistic

  1. All public transport now runs on schedule. I love schedules.
  2. It's illegal to show up at someone's door unnanounced. You must text first.
  3. No music in supermarkets. Also, ordering groceries to your address is now free.
  4. Instead of engaging in meaningless small talk, people ask what topic someone has been obsessed with lately.
  5. Ads are abandoned.
  6. Working from home is now default.
  7. Restaurants carry common "Safe food" menus, and silent seating options.
  8. Social capital is no longer about how much you earn, and what kind of success you have, but about knowledge of obscure movie references.
  9. What's on TV? Oh, it's your comfort show on rerun again!
  10. People of support level 2 and higher will be granted magical powers to compensate for their difficulties. Not sure how I'll implement this in practice but I'll damn sure give it a shot.

I was on Reddit for 10 years, and I have absolutely no clue why I was banned. I just moved, so maybe it was because my new ISP dealt me a bad IP?

Anyway, Reddit:

  1. Has no email, and doesn't respond to e-mails.
  2. Doesn't respond to mod mail, doesn't tell you why you were banned.
  3. Doesn't respond to appeal.
  4. Autobans any user I create.
  5. Seemingly doesn't give a shit about it's long-term users.

I guess from here on out I'm a... Lemming? Lemmyzen? Lemmy user?

Anyway thanks for having me! Reddit was shit anyway. I've been without it for a week now, and my life has definitely improved lol
