Instantly paid for the ad free version even though I'm rocking an ad blocker. This is a pristine app, every bit as good as the original Reddit app.

TBH loads of stuff about headphones and audio equipment, gaming and computers, etc. and also discovered loads of great music and movies there.

Not so much "my workplace" but at one of the cafes I worked at, the owner was going through a divorce, and living temporarily in his office out the back. As well as having all sorts of power tools and shit lying around (one time I accidentally knocked over an angle grinder, which turned itself on and started spazzing out all over the concrete floor, spraying sparks everywhere and leaving a huge cut in my shoe), he was also dealing a not-insignificant amount of hard drugs out of that office.

People still throw OCD around like they're the world's quirkiest person "oh that's just my OCD lol"

Totally this for me and I'm someone who understands how bad Google is. I've been using the same Gmail account for twenty years. It's such an integral part of my everyday life. I have hundreds of stars on maps, a meticulously organised and synced Drive, all my YouTube favourites and subscriptions, Photos that are all mostly geotagged, etc. Degoogling would just be such a major hassle, and all my stuff would never be as nicely integrated ever again.

I'm very tech-literate but Discord has always seemed so fucking messy to me. So many channels and emojis and I barely know how to send someone a DM or add them to my friends list or whatever. How on earth are you supposed to keep track of anything?

As a fountain pen user and fan of stationery, I can assure you not all paper is created equal. For me it's 100% worth paying for the good stuff.

I'm on Jerboa for the moment, it gets the job done, was more intuitive for me than Liftoff. With that said I will 100% be switching to Boost when it's available.

They definitely weren't NSFW or controversial anything, just stuff about gaming IIRC. Was there some server issue? Or something about posting here that I just don't understand?

Expensive drinks when I'm out for dinner etc. But I guess that's the cost of socialising.

Have you actually tried making vegetarian meals at home?

I'm also a mid-30s dude and I can honestly say cooking and baking has probably been the best skill I have. I bake stuff for my coworkers every now and then and it's always a good time. And cooking a nice meal from scratch for a girl always impresses.

I read that some instances don’t allow posting on certain other instances, etc. I thought I would create an account on a smaller instance, in case this one gets too bogged down or whatever. Is there any way to sync them up?
