I'm fairly certain Tor is better than a new laptop.

I'm trying to find a certain kind of bracket to mount a cage fan like this on my porch.

The fan is currently bolted into an overhead 2x4, but I'd like to be able to move the fan to several locations around my deck easily.

I'd like to use brackets similar to those used to hang most ceiling fans except more compact obviously. They are like a "U" or "C" shape and a disk or ball slides in and drops down in the bracket. This would be ideal so I can easily pick it up move the fan to a different bracket.

The photo below is the closest I've found, but still not quite it. These don't have a drop or latch of any kind that would keep the fan from falling out if it's mounted to and overhead beam.

Can anyone find this bracket. I know they exist.... But Ive googled for hours and don't know the right term to find them.

I found the ones in the photo by searching "keyhole bracket" .

Any other quick connect bracket recommendations are also excepted.

Thanks!

Mine just exploded and poured about 10 gallons of water under my cabinets. Looking for recommendations for a new one that is reliable.

I have to have a computer science degree to install a peice of software.. I just wanna double click the installer icon. I don't want to have to write out some long String in terminal to install software. And sometimes it's different depending on distro.

Additional fun fact. There has been a lot of research and activity dedicated to potentially switch coal power plants to nuclear. Currently, they cannot do it, because the coal plants and all the equipment associated produces far more radiation than regulations allow a nuclear plant to emit.

Therefore, unless they could find a practical way to decontaminate the radiation away from existing coal equipment, or regulations change for transformed plants, they can't do it.

Bitwarden is the exact app you just described. I use it. It's great.

So I went to the website. It explains what it does, but not much how.. Or maybe I'm too dumb to get it. Could you explain how the verification happens? How does this system work?

3 things.

  1. Is there a minimum number of users for this to be effective? If so, just keeping you instance under that amou t should work.

  2. Can they really charge someone who is not running the instance for profit? The article states that the social media owner must take "commercially reasonable" action to verify users. Technically, nothing is commercially reasonable if you aren't running a Comercial business right?

  3. Related to 2. The article says "social media companies". Most instances aren't being ran by companies... So again this may be an out for those running instances.
