This was made by the bearded miniaturist. He participated in the challenge show the best in miniature and the show is available on youtube on his youtube. Check him out!

Nossa o /r/brasil virou so politica depois da eleicao de bolsonaro. Nunca mais recuperou, eles so falam de politica, e chato.

Is there something like LinkedIn, but without big tech involvement, no data collection, no ads, open source, and preferably decentralized (maybe Fediverse or even P2P)? in c/opensource@lemmy.ml

Hello, I think that with time we are going to have the equivalent substitute of all the usefull apps out there. LinkedIn is an interesting one because having a central entity deciding who gets the best opportunity is repulsive to users.

There are a few useful components in LinkedIn.

The feed; The job postings; DM;

Having a federated model can be useful because you would be getting job openings from companies you follow and posts from professionals you follow on your other fediverse plataforms.

I haven't heard of any on going project, but even if you don't know how to code you could start an open source project on codeberg and invite people to contribute. It may inspire others to keep the project going.

If anyone can make a compilation of news and articles in the facts, that would be great.

For those who don't know, Roblox is a publicly traded company and they are down almost 2bn dol on the stock market because they are being accused of facilitating the sexual exploration and grooming of children.

They just banned a player who was groomed by a roblox developer and then started a catch a predator project that resulted in the arrest of 6 adults accused of predating on children using the game.

Chris Hansen contacted the player and they are doing a documentary on the sexual predation that occurs on the plataform. There is a class action, so if you are in the US and know someone who has been abused on roblox, you should contact them.

I don't know much about the situation, I just watched a couple articles about it.

To top it all off, the CEO announced that roblox is pivoting to becoming a dating website. This is not the onion, fellers.
