Russia's reaction will be extremely interesting. I read somewhere that they said that an attack on their early warning systems will be countered with nuclear force.
While I can fully understand his pain, I can't quite follow how adding a paid subscription model will make his life easier (except financially).
Before, he had to deal with entitled asshats, and now he'll have to deal with asshats feeling even more entitled, because they paid for it.
Bluetooth speakers? That would be a perfectly logical, reasonable and absolutely disappointing suggestion.
Who could've imagined that Google is becoming just as mediocre and boring as any other large corporation. What a surprise!
Do the LLMs have any knowledge of the effects of violence or the consequences of their decisions? Do they know that resorting to nuclear war will lead to their destruction?
I think that this shows that LLMs are not intelligent, in that they repeat what they've been fed, without any deeper understanding.
So is AI the new Blockchain?
Switching over to a new operating system can be challenging, even frightening for some people. We should acknowledge that, welcome them and offer them help along the way. We all want FOSS to gain more traction, and gatekeeping isn't the way. How about a new community for Linux news?
As an OSS advocate, I fully agree. Sadly, OSS alternatives have to compete with easily accessible, slick and well-integrated products that are aggressively positioned. Just imagine all the steps you need to go through, just to install Fennec from F-Droid.
I had so many arguments with my team lead. He thought comments were an antipattern because that meant the code wasn't expressive enough.
I understood where he was coming from, but a little hint here and there why the fuck the code is doing what it's doing would've been nice.
"Getting old's not for pussies" - my Grandma
I think that says more about how unbelievably massive Africa is.
Habe mich gefragt, welche Argumente die Nimbys dagegen hatten.
Keine?
