When their rhetoric hits a wall like that of apartheid, the final juke is bemoaning how complicated it all is, when that couldn’t be further from the truth. Genocide is simple. It’s always wrong. It’s a stand-in for irredeemable evil.

The Japanese seem to be ashamed of their actions in Nanjing. To me that’s half the battle. Now they need to own it and vow to never let it happen again.

This would make more sense if he was even a member of PSL; he is not. He, like many of us, attended a PSL march a few years ago and was photographed doing so.
