If you get molded iem they work better than active noise cancelling and the music sounds better (better bass from the mold and no distortion from the noise cancelling algorithm)

GoG is generally the better alternative to steam than epic.

Steam isn’t perfect but it works and has a decent consumer oriented service. GoG is doing great with conservation and drm free options but their launcher isn’t amazing. Pair either with Heroic games launcher or similar for a great experience on almost any OS

How many times can they shoot their own foot? They must aim like Star Troopers…

To anyone having issues running on a pi it’s likely either or both of the following item -cheap 5v power supply. Yes you can use an old phone charger but it won’t cut it for long term usage. Get a quality unit or better yet the branded pihole charger. We ended up with a Poe hat that it runs off. Sorted Ethernet and power supply.

-memory card. Buy a quality, fast card and you will be fine.

Going on 8 years with my current pi setup. One failure around 6 years in which was the memory card

We had two of these growing up. Pretty solid cars that were easy to work on and had long travel suspension so very popular in India, Africa and Australia.

It’s not a fishing rod, it’s something much more personal

Feed in smaller batches or lookup a cat-tree feeder

Experimented with various approaches, looking to replace an older Pegasus set of 6 drives and a file server.

Unraid just worked. Lots of support and tutorials to get started. Look up Spaceinvader on YouTube as a starter

Have you checked that all your speakers are in phase? Specifically that the positive on amp cable goes to the positive connect on on the back of the speaker?

If your system is otherwise matched especially the left/centre/right then it should function.

Depending on your surround sound amp/processor some of them can get stuck in stereo vs surround.

A quick test is here.

Verify the dialog with a well mixed movie or dvd though that adds another level of possible issues. (most appletv stuff works as expected)

Good luck with it.

Yes it’s dynamic range but the most common cause is listening to a source that’s been mixed for a centre vocal speaker.

It will play on a stereo (Left and right speakers only) but you will have very little vocals and lots of special fx.

This is also completely ignoring the us lack of lufs standards for advertising (apparent loudness.)

Not necessarily the end users fault. If the wrong audio source is selected/streamed then you are stuck. There are workarounds but no real solution

I only just noticed this option for sorting my feed. I do have a reasonably curated selection of large and small and using “scaled” gives the results I would expect across them all.

Give it a go.
