Didn't we agree over 20 years ago on "toaster"?

The latest LLM's are pretty damn good as a research assistant - that was its original purpose. Using chatgpt as your first go at researching a new subject (like self hosting) is perfectly valid.
I think sometwo could learn to be a little less sensitive about made up numbers on a social media site 🤷🏻♂️
I had a Pixel 3 before the 7, and basically just Nexus phones before that. Sounds like maybe I'm just used to this particular shortcoming of Google's hardware! 😅
I have a Pixel 7 and haven't really ever noticed issues with my modem. Has it gotten noticeably worse in later models or something?
Good job it's an option then, huh

Good for you! For GTA VI, I definitely wanna play it as quickly as possible and £70 is a pretty reasonable price for that.
I'm responding to a comment assuming it'll be nothing but a "pay to win" game, despite any real evidence of that - I'm pointing out the expectations of GTA VI.
This sub is like Reddit on steroids. Just a bunch of contrarian kids trying to start arguments on the internet. Bizarre.
It's certainly going to be interesting how this game is received. Rockstar is one of those studios that burns all its goodwill with things like Online, the "Definitive" editions, RDR2 Online closing early, yet despite that it's the largest studio with one of the largest, most successful franchises.
With the industry being so dire right now, where only huge behemoths like rockstar, or tiny efficient indie studios, can really compete, the outcome of GTA 6 might be quite consequential for the industry.
The article you're commenting on is literally about the game's unsustainable hype and its impact on the industry.
It won Most Anticipated at TGA.
This is far from my favourite series, just enjoy shining a light on insane takes on Lemmy!
The yanks are still too comfortable to do anything about the blatant fascism rising in their country. Rich right wingers have pulled off the amazing feat of keeping people happy with bread and circuses and convincing them to look at the evil foreigners whilst they're robbed blind. It's happening in other democracies as well.
I fear the US is just the beginning. The EU is growing more right wing and the UK is looking at giving Nigel Farage total power in 3 years time. Forecast does not look too good.
