I know a bunch of out of work framers. No one wants to pay their rates... The megacorp developers rather wait for a few to get desperate enough to take the poverty payouts.

So, now we will need a masters of engineering and 15 years in pouring concrete for a Canadian to get a job in construction?

Worked nights for 7 years from the age of 18.... Biological clock defaults to 3am-noon regardless of timezone. Anything happening in the AM results in me being a zombie. Trouble getting to sleep before midnight... I've lost jobs over this. Wasn't a problem before I took that job....

we have a minimum wage labour shortage as no one in their right mind would bother showing up for it given the cost of everything

Building a new structure in a city is about 1m$. Being able to split this 4 ways could help reduce prices if enough come online that demand starts to teter off. This will incentivize redeveloping aging single-family homes in downtown cores. Density isn't just about being green, but helps reduce the cost of overall infrastructure maintenance, taxes, and helps the city remain financially healthier. That said, this is a single step towards repair... it will take decades to see the effects.

The people who own large aggressive breeds rarely cross over with people who know or even care about training.

Just wait until landlords can pass on tenants with bad credit!

So let me get this strait... if you're struggling to make the 3200$ rent payment each month... because your roommate dipped or you got your hours cut... your credit rating gets tanked. And a tanked credit score means banks can charge you more for loans. Additionally future landlords and (apparently now even employers) are legally allowed to pass on you for ... let me get this right... being unlucky?
