In live in DC and I wish we had a well functioning taxi system here. The airport is about the only place you can reliably get one. If I want to get picked up at home there is no one number to call since every taxi is independent and the Curb app is worth shit. When I do get a cab from the airport the experience is on par with Lyft and usually cheaper.
The orders: "Don't get caught"
Because they make his hands look huge.
How could you write that on a sign and step back and say "Yep, that gets my point across."?
With Sonos shitting the bed with its app update and now the prospect of Alexa being destroyed by fees and AI, my smart home infrastructure is falling apart. So disappointing.
Now he actually looks like the old man he played in Mary Poppins. ☺
At one of the places I worked as a manager I oversaw a staff of in-house techs that made desk-side calls when things needed done. After many complaints, I had to have a talk with one of my staff because he smelled and that I couldn't have him come back to the office until he cleaned up. After that I had weekly check ins with him until the new hygiene regimen became routine.
That was one of the hardest conversations I have ever had and the look on his face killed me.
If it still requires a Facebook account, no way. I walked away from that site 8 years ago and never missed it once.
I am glad he is saying it now but Trump was always a self serving, vindictive, money hungry traitor. And this man helped that win the office the first time.
I can't imagine what it must be like going through life being afraid of everything all the time and also having a fantasy in which you get to kill someone.
I will never understand the parishioner's mentality, seeing him ask for money every week (probably every day) and then seeing him and his wife wear tons of jewelry and expensive clothing. "They sure look great wearing things I paid for, wonder if I will buy food or pay my rent this week"
The Cuecat: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/CueCat
Came at a time when there weren't barcodes everywhere and QR codes didn't exist yet. Companies had to publish Cuecat specific barcodes, it was much easier to just type in the URL by the time you figured out you could use it at all.
