There is no reason not to tax the rich to fill that hole.

Any idea when it will be released? It is a wonderful movie, although I seriously doubt my TV will be able to provide the room-shaking experience that we had in the cinema...

Just by considering Suella Braverman in a leading position shows how deranged that "New Conservatives" group must be.

Even if he miraculously could, he would only be a ruler of a smoking ruin.

I'd say things started to really go downhill when Cameron tried to placate the Tory right-wingers with the Brexit referendum.

But I would not fight anyone who would place the tipping point back to the Thatcher era.

Maybe he should actually ask the country about it. Or he just confuses a quick poll among his friends with the will of the country.

Wrong sales pitch. Should have been "A new and innovative way to cut corners"

Well, they had a good plan that they got permission for to build. It is not the council's fault that they actually built something else.

WOW. This is what I would call "terminally stupid". Who the F cooks up such ridculous ideas?

The color of the place would not want me to cook there, either.

Let's put it this way: Any HS2 that is not connected to the HS1 is a stupid idea from the beginning.

Do you really imagine people coming from the EU wanting to drag all their stuff through the f-ing Tube to reach the connecting bullet train to the north? Heck, this is already a pain in the ass with the crappy normal trains in the UK. I once needed to go from Hastings to Cambridge by train, and vividly remember having to walk between Kings Cross and Kings Cross Themselink (and back) with a load of luggage and a handicapped wife.

There is a big, big difference between "noticing" and "admitting". E.g. there are a lot of older drivers. They usually noticed that they are no longer good for the road, but would they admit it and stop driving? Or look at this senile American Mitch McConnell - probably had a stroke in the middle of an interview, but would he admit that he is no longer fit for office?
