Being a ml honestly takes so much mental gymnastics...from skipping both marx and lenins works entirely, touting stalin as a legitimate theorist, to simping for nationalist movements, doing racial pseudo science plus the intellectual leg work for large imperialist nations...it seems like a lot of work to me....and all to come across as a whiney sort of racist spoiled psuedo intellecual brat to the actual working class. Dont get me started on maoists who legitimately think that white people cant be proletarian. These two types of leftist specifically will do anything but try to understand what communism is.

I think its super important to seperate completely from the DNC as they have poisoned the well with working people, and a socialist party needs to be completely seperate from bourgeois politcs period and make it a point to clarify that they are not a bourgeois or corporate party, no hollywood aristocrats just working american messaging. Right now is the time to trash the dnc entirely and as a sign of good faith we should prob even seek to charge and jail dnc party leaders like pelosi on insider trading etc.

As an American, i would rather cpc or russian agents poison me than the dumb totally avoidable shit thats about to happen with all that data in this country.

That being said, i do agree with your assessment on foreign bots. Most of the real ridiculous and divisive political content i come across is simply bots. And lots of inane one liners from rando nothing accounts.

It seems some of my more maga neighbors have piped down recently tho. I still think their loyalists, sunk cost fallacy, and they def still have fox news on 247...i guess they just really like election season 😭 they have moved on to "god will protect us" yap, possibly guilty conscience but they have a massive distrust of "the left"...although they seem to like me personally which just highlights the tragedy really.

The motto is frankly terrible and on its face a lowkey dig at actual genuine democracy...like spitting in our faces.
