No other business works as hard as YouTube at pissing off both viewers and creators of their platform lol

Better than buggy piece of shit getting released and not being able to play at all.

I’ll take late over rushed any day of the week. Especially when it’s only a few days late.

I’m a new player to S1 over the past month and been enjoying it so far.

It really depends on a lot of factors. The following questions are not ones I’m expecting you to answer, but questions that would affect this decision: What kind of trauma was it? How long ago was it? Is it likely the trauma could reappear on a second visit (example: if it was due to a war and the war is still ongoing, going back would not be a good idea)? What is the reason for going back, is it to overcome the fear, face it head on, etc.?

Depending on the severity of the trauma, this may be an answer best looked into with a professional, who can guide you on when and how it would be best to go back, or if going back is even something you should do. It simply may not be a good idea to do, at all. Or the way in which you originally planned to do it may not be the best idea for one reason or another that you may have overlooked but a professional could point out.

If it’s not that severe of a trauma that you feel needs a professional, I think the other person here is right, to go with someone, someone who you can trust to confide this with and tell them your plan. That you had something traumatic happen and you want their presence for moral support. But be careful not to expose them to the same sort of trauma too if the area is still dangerous enough for that to happen a second time.

I’m personally not familiar with AMV Hell but, going to cover this in spoiler to explain the exact scene from Golden Boy and give a summary of the show’s premise so you can compare:

Tap for spoilerThe whole Golden Boy anime is 5 episodes long and revolves around this guy, Kintaro, who is obsessed with women but he is also quite oblivious. The show follows him as he rides his bicycle around Japan doing odd jobs and meeting various women. In episode 4, Kintaro is riding his bicycle and a motorcycle passes him at a high speed and it turns out to be a very sexy woman riding the motorcycle. Kintaro follows her and eventually learns that she has a hideout where she keeps her motorcycle and she is, as literally as she can, having sex with her motorcycle. Well, more like getting off, sexually, to the motorcycle in an almost nude way, as she continually pulls the accelerator. She tells Kintaro that men just don’t do it for her like her motorcycle can.

Thank you! It’s working now, wrote this on Voyager!

[–] NutinButNet@hilariouschaos.com 3 points 1 week ago (3 children)

I am noticing some issues on the third party app Voyager. I am currently accessing via my phone’s browser and I saw the Tollbot prompt for a second and then everything loaded up. But on the Voyager app, it loads for about 10 seconds and then fails. This is what it shows after that https://imgur.com/a/6oRTUVg trying to pull down and load again results in additional failures.

This just started this hour, not sure before that as the last time I was successfully on was when I made the previous comment and I didn’t have any issues at that time. Also on the same network as before, so I don’t believe it is my network that is causing this issue either.

Rust is a programming language. Not to be confused with the video game.

I always wanted to read a book on the first Bioshock game. I couldn’t really get into the gameplay so I never got far into it or the sequels, but I love the premise idea a lot.

Have any other admins of other instances reported similar?

My first thought was more sinister considering how many other instances seem to hate this instance due to political disagreements and how some of them overlap with the types who dox people for their real identities.

Depends on what you’re looking for.

For me, I loved Golden Boy for the humor and stories. It’s not really like others with lots of fighting and violence. It’s 18 because of the mature sexually suggestive themes of the show. The second to last episode is the most sexually explicit with a woman doing stuff on a motorcycle and the first episode has tons of female body imagery that is very exaggerated.

So far everyone else here seems to share the anime that is more focused on fighting.

I miss physical keyboards. This time was just great for so many choices.

This right here is just one of the many reasons why going all in on digital fucking sucks.

Multibillion dollar company acknowledges that your account was accessed & security settings were changed by an unauthorized party but refuses to transfer purchases from that account that is now closed to a new account you set up.

Fucking horseshit.

I can understand data being locked away. It sucks, but too much liability to release to anyone. But products they still sell and you paid for? Fuck you mean I have to create a new account and buy that product again?!

Sorry if this is not the right community to ask this, but I just wondered this today.

Users often think of Linux as being more complicated to use than something like Windows or macOS, but I’m sure there are plenty of things made easier in Linux than the other two more common consumer OSes.

What are some that come to mind for you?

I got a new AIO cooler and needed to also move to a bigger desktop case.

So I moved all of my internal components from one case to the other and also removed the old AIO and installed the new one. Besides that, I might have damaged my PSU in the process so I had to replace that too. It wouldn’t turn on anymore so I just replaced it this morning.

I tried booting into Windows and it went to a BSOD saying cache_manager was the problem.

I tried to get a recovery in there and Windows tried to automatically repair drives but kept coming up on this same error.

I created a KDE Neon live USB and booted into that. Zero issues. I then manually formatted my Windows OS disk in KDE and also removed the Windows bootloader. Basically trying to start from a scratch system with no Microsoft any.

Still getting the BSOD, even with the Windows 11 USB installer I created from their creation tool. I am able to get to that purple screen in the installer and see a cursor to move around with my mouse. That’s the part in the Windows installer where you tell it what edition and which drive you want to choose. But after a few moments, it errors out to a BSOD.

Now I’ve actually went ahead and installed KDE Neon to my system. I use it on my laptop, but I need Windows on this computer for work (it’s my personal computer I game with but also use for remoting in for work).

I’m going to try redoing my USB as a new Windows 11 installer and see if that goes through, but wondering if there’s anything else I can do for this? Anything else to try?

I say “recently” in a relative way, more so countries that have split in the last century. Places like North and South Korea, Taiwan and China, former USSR states, etc.

Has enough time passed that these countries separated have major changes in their languages yet?

This shit grinds my gears so fucking hard.

I got a Dell Latitude 7400 2 in 1 from my job they were going to ewaste. I daily drive KDE Neon on it and I love it. However, one of its two USB type C ports isn’t working for charging or data transfer. I inspected the port but found no obvious damage. How can I troubleshoot and fix this? I’ve searched YouTube and online sites but haven’t found helpful guidance.

I get it if it’s at a place like Starbucks when you verbally say it. Everyone has a special way of spelling their name and you can’t know the spelling based on how it was said.

But when my name is literally written out in the previous email and you are replying to that email…bruh.

Makes me want to passive aggressively write theirs incorrectly too.

Just thinking about collector’s cups like limited edition Super Bowl memorabilia or whatever.

I realize that I prefer to use them rather than keep them pristine. I have a Chiefs winner shirt an ex gave me and I just wear it despite her saying it’d probably be worth something someday lol

I swear off so many products and services for no other reason than their obnoxious, repetitive commercials.

Off top of my head, I will never buy Old Spice anything because their ads are so repetitive and obnoxious. I feel disgust when I see it in the store and actively avoid it for no other reason than their spam campaigns.

Same for USAA, Native body wash, AmEx, Liberty insurance (that forced catchy theme), and more.

Anyone else feel the same way? Or have you caught yourself getting suckered in because of ads’ subconscious shenanigans?
