as if strategic voting isn’t a thing.

lol fuck off "strategic voting" my ass PIGPOOPBALLS

i think they would only do this if they could bribe some of their generals to stand down, they would need any war to finish very very quickly and with minimal damage to either country for that to be worth it, because a longer war would give time to the US to regroup and reinforce occupied Korea and extensive damage would strain the DPRK's economy in a very bad way + could give rise to a particularly bad insurgency if enough people living in occupied Korea die

they have never needed to, they have always gotten an unlimited check from the US to build up their airforce

did they start calling him that before or after his administration started putting ludicrous tariffs on chinese solar panels and EVs?

i love how international this site is despite it's tiny size, honestly amazing how often we will have multiple perspectives from any country that's currently involved in some geopolitical crisis despite not even having 2k users/month

why would they use planes instead of that shiny new rail line they just finished???

Biden kind of fucked up twice and decided

important to say that i think this probably more so came from the people puppetting him, i seriously doubt biden was ever actually there for any significant part of his presidency considering the very obvious signs of mental decline that he was showing even in 2020

Democrats want a neutral and/or friendly relationship with China

jesse-wtf

important to say i feel like that US planes heading towards isr*el specifically would be wasted, they can strike from a different angle from other bases which dont have to use iraqi/syrian airspace, i'm assuming that would be a significant tactical advantage no?

i mean IMF comes in and fucks over the common people which helps these buisnessmen make more money though. it's honestly perfect for them, instead of having to own really unpopular austerity they can just do the "oh we just have to do this, the IMF is making us!!!"

also again, it's not that i think these elites are always super rational in that they are doing what they think capital wants them to do which i dont think always makes sense to us because capital is best viewed as an alien form of intelligent that has unclear motives at times, which is why i linked that article because i think it makes the argument for me a lot better than i can

i think there's a big gap between "do nothing" and "drop economic nuke on the west". i'm also not even saying china shouldnt risk it, dare to struggle dare to win and all that but i also dont think we should act like there's no risk to something as drastic as destroying the global economy
