As Connor Leahy says, companies are stuck in a race to the bottom where the only thing that matters is being the first to achieve AGI, even at the expense of security. I believe that unless things change significantly, we are heading towards extinction. We might create a very powerful AGI that simply doesn't care about us and ends up destroying us. This wouldn't be because the AGI is inherently evil, but simply because we would be in its way, much like how humans wouldn't care about ants when building a road. I wish more people were discussing this issue because in a few years, it might be too late.

This reminds me of the meme subreddit called r/Piracy. That was quick.

I had installed Fediverse redirector 0.1.2 by KaKi87 two days ago. Is this the same or is it better?

  • Movies / Shows. Self-hosted automated Jellyfin media streaming stack
  • eBooks. Calibre
  • pictures. Hydrus Network

I hate Calibre and Hydrus because they make copies of files instead of keeping track of them wherever I want them to be.

  • porn. Stashapp

I would recommend considering Fopnu, Soulseek, ed2k, and DC++ as alternatives for sharing. It's only opening the program, choosing the folders to seed and that's it.

There could be a community in which people just paste all magnets to the torrents they download so we can see what's popular.

soulseek, fopnu, emule, dc++. For old/rare content, emule is the best.

You don't want to delete your account until you are absolutely certain that your content will remain permanently deleted, as it appears that they are restoring deleted content.

Yeah but many people don't know how to use Tor so this will help them.
