I don’t know, the person who dismantled the KleptoCapture programs, reallocated personnel and ressources previously dedicated to targeting Russian oligarchs towards drugs cartel, ended the foreign influence task force and reduced FARA enforcement publicly stating her "heart(!) and prayers go out to her family and friends" after the death of the most prominent figure involved in preventing and fighting foreign influences specially from Russia, is quite disturbing to say the least.

I guess the BBC insisting on stating "Hamas-run" in its titles related to this conflict is not about partiality or transparency but rather create a false equivalence with the armed forces. It’s an oversimplification aimed at creating a certain narrative, and based on multiple sources it’s a policy of theirs not to display "bias" against israel.

Just wanted to add this related piece: "The Greenlandic organization behind the national dog sled race, Avannaata Qimussersua, has received significant financial support from the U.S. Consulate in Nuuk, according to board chairman Mikkel Jeremiassen.

While Jeremiassen did not disclose the exact amount due to the terms of the agreement, he described it as “large” and emphasized that the deal was “non-political.”

However, Sermitsiaq reports that after securing the grant, volunteer patron Doris Jakobsen Jensen was informed that American politicians should be invited to attend the event as a result of the funding."

It’s only the dead that can be named or found, there must be thousands more still stuck in all the rubble. A letter published by The Lancet even established that the death count could go as high as 186 000.

We will never now the true extent until it’s far too late.

The video truly display the humiliation and subtle threat.

The gift is akin to saying "we own you and we will do with you as we please or else.."

I would argue that women are still less likely to engage in extreme violent crimes like this one than men who are, for example, threatened to be exposed as being queer or having weird kinks. Such profiles are harder to foster but much more effective.

Then they sign the "To Aid Tinnitus Effectiveness" act, making it mandatory for schools and libraries to put Tate’s podcast on repeat at maximum volume as a way of "enhancing learning capabilities", if silence feels good it must be woke!

The hospital was located in the Netzarim Corridor, which splits Gaza in two and was controlled by Israeli troops for most of the 17-month-long war.

"Ukraine’s intelligence service says it thwarted a Russian plot to blackmail a local teenage girl into blowing up a police building by threatening to make public intimate pictures on her phone."

Sometimes I like not being human

Columbia University has capitulated to Trump Administration demands in order to secure federal funding. The major concessions are as follows.

> Columbia will ban masks on campus during protests.

> The University will hire 36 more on campus police officers.

> The Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies Departments will be placed under Academic Receivership for 5 years, meaning the departments will be run by an outside group while the existing staff will be put under their control.

> The University will adopt a "position of institutional neutrality".

> The University will hire more Jewish academics for its Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies in order to counter balance pro-Palestinian staff.
