I think that there's not just one reason we can list as why she lost. It's complicated. The young white male demographic specifically, voted primarily Republican - which makes sense given that they're being marketed to by republicans (think people like Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate, people like that). I almost didn't vote for her over Gaza - and I'm sure a lot of people didn't vote over Gaza. In regards to "All Lives Matter", I don't think so. I never got the impression that that "movement" was really about saying "Not just black people matter!", it was about being an opposing statement to the BLM movement. The words "Black Lives Matter" do not say that other people don't matter - and the movement is about police violence against black people. "All Lives Matter" was made to deny the recognition that this racial violence happens. I've seen it used a lot to defend police (and let's be honest it has ties to the whole "Blue Lives Matter" thing).

You should look into the history of WHY Hamas formed in the first place. Palestinians have been forcibly relocated and had their land taken since the 40's. I will say, is there any justification for the destruction and genocide Israel is committing? They've destroyed practically ALL infrastructure in Gaza including hospitals, they've got snipers shooting kids, targeting UN aid workers. Hamas and hostages are convenient excuses for them to keep doing what they started in the 40's - killing an entire native population and taking their land.

Because our government's support of Israel furthers US financial interests in the Middle East.

I drive an EV for work, any my biggest gripe is the touchscreen. What is wrong with buttons. Why must everything be hidden behind a menu I have to navigate on a touchscreen. It feels less safe, frankly. In my own car I have muscle memory for each button and can do things like skip songs or adjust the AC without looking away from the road... But in the EV I can't.

What's happening in Gaza is being directly funded by all of our taxes, there's not a particular location that the protesting needs to be done, it just needs to be done.

I think it's important to question the idea that the US has "always rejected fanaticism". Sure, our state doesn't want to be viewed that way. I just think that looking at our history shows a lot of fanatic shit, from the way settlers treated the native population, to all of our conflicts in the 1900's to now.

I feel like all that will happen is players will continue to move to non-AAA alternatives, or wait longer periods for discounts, or maybe platforms like game pass where they can just play a lot of the new games right away just by having the sub. $70 alone is already very expensive.

I prefer the headphone jack is on the bottom, next to the charging port. That way, I can put the ports down while my phone is in my pocket if i'm working, so nothing gets into the ports. Then, if I'm just keeping my phone in my pocket normally, with the ports up, my headphones can plug in without problems.

Any UBI system worth it's salt wouldn't be providing a flat amount, it should be based on regional cost of living. So if prices all went up, UBI would have to go up as well.
