sorry if it came off as hostile, not my intention.

That only works if you don’t get the very common entropy of illness or disability.

Like tell that life advice to many people who i know who are bedridden in their 20s from lifelong chronic illness.

I can’t tell if this is real or an onion site. Someone please tell me. I had no idea people could live to 114 and run!???

(I mentioned that at the bottom of my post if you had kept reading)

Not everything has to be about earning money.

Early youtube was beautiful precisely because it was normal people making videos as a hobby, not trying to earn money.

This is how it should be lol.

I dont get why its not more common to just buy a pack of beers and a bottle and sit in the parc with the lads.

like who wants to spend half a days worth of salary for some meh beer in an overcrowded bar with shitty music.

(I guess the problem is the US has puritan laws against drinking alcohol outside, thankfully we don’t tend to have the in europe).

Since this came right after a post from !theonion@sh.itjust.works on my feed i honestly thought it was the onion.

Context:

In ZFC set theory (which most of modern maths is built upon). The natural numbers are defined as recursions of empty sets.

Ie. 0 = ∅ (the empty set)

1 = {∅} = {0}

2 = {∅, {∅}} etc…

Doesn't sound like much, but waiting for a bus on a bench can make a huge difference.

Guerrilla urbanism is awesome!

The [documentary] production company's founder, Ben de Pear, said earlier this week the BBC had "utterly failed" and that journalists were "being stymied and silenced".

BBC News understands the decision to shelve the documentary was taken on Thursday, following public comments by De Pear at the Sheffield Documentary Festival, and another of the film's directors, journalist Ramita Navai, who appeared on Radio 4's Today discussing the war in Gaza.

Navai told the programme Israel had "become a rogue state that's committing war crimes and ethnic cleansing and mass murdering Palestinians". Israel has denied accusations of war crimes and genocide in Gaza.

TLDR: BBC refuses to run documentary about doctors in Gaza they comissioned because someone involved it is says Israel is committing ethnic cleansing. I think this is one of the most obvious examples on how biased the BBC is towards this situation.
