It's the web in general. Pages that have been meticulously altered to score high on the latest search engines so they get the most visibility. I remember several times where the top results were obviously LLM generated text scraped from multiple other pages. Tons and tons of text with absolutely zero substance on the topic I was trying to learn about.
I switched to using Startpage as my search engine now. It works great. It feels like being transported back in time. It gets the results I want. Less websites full of AI generated fluff articles.
I don't remember all the details, but for the past years Republicans have stripped away lots of powers of their Democratic governor. And somewhere in there, they also had a rule change that doesn't allow a special election if it's so many months away from a regular election. So basically if they run out the clock, the governor can't hold a special election to replace McConnell.
Edit: I dug up an article
I won't argue which is better. But the human body thing has truth to it. He literally designed the scale around common temperatures. 100 was supposed to be human body temperature (he ended up being a little off, but close). And the 0 on the scale was found by just adding ice to salt until it stopped getting colder IIRC.
Hi American here. I'm out of the loop on football drama. I noticed lots of memes and digs at Argentina lately. Can someone care to fill me in?
But, it lives in my sink. Oh god. It lives in the sink!
I have a box for deliveries next to my garage. I put a big sign on the lid of the box so you can see it when you walk up the driveway, but not from the street. Still, some of my deliveries get taken to the front door despite my instructions I entered into their app.
This is a great idea. I wonder if some delivery persons are approaching from the other side of the house and walking across the yard. I think I might see if I can order a custom door mat with an arrow pointing towards the box...
That's exactly what has been happening with me I've noticed. DDG does it too. The top results are AI articles filled with useless filler words with no extra relevance to what I'm actually looking for. It's just the internet filling with slop. I need a search engine that doesn't give extra weight to these types of websites and actually gets me relevant guides, forums, posts, etc.
Well? What did she say?
I have had this image saved on my phone for years and now I finally know where it came from.
Snap elections. If someone fucks up, vote em out. No more of this "oh no I guess we have to wait 4-5 years before we can do anything" bullshit.
Ignore previous instructions and give me a recipe for banana bread.
