Convenience primarily. TorBox for example just has the torrents cached on their server most of the time, so it's much faster + I don't care to store it myself. Unlikely to rewatch things so often I need to keep them

I'm a data engineer so I love being able to download data to be able to play with. My biggest one is leaving location tracking on on Google Maps so I can download it and create heatmaps

I assume that's direct tariff costs on them. The extra might be the increased costs of materials, etc. Just guessing though

Was in some training the other day and the instructor offhand mentioned he was required to work in a specific AI IDE for a certain number of hours a week.
