I’ve been putting off The Cleaning that needed to happen to deal with any ash that potentially got in during the fires, but now that it’s rained it’s made me feel like it won’t be a futile effort, so we did it today. Holy fuck do I feel like my brain is melting out of my ears, I’m so exhausted. You never know how much shit you have until you have to move it all and dust it. We worked for at least 3 solid hours doing nothing but dusting and vacuuming.
And we don’t even have a big apartment! Just a lot of open shelving with knick knacks… as soon as we have the money the first thing we’re doing is replacing everything with shelving that has glass doors. And if that doesn’t keep the dust off, I’m just going full minimalist, lmao.
Can’t wait for this to fix the price of eggs, rent, healthcare, and education.

I’m someone who is having to make those calculations and chose to not be on instagram a long time ago, so I get it. But there are trans kids on there, and as long as there are then pointing them to reputable sources instead of leaving them to sort it out for themselves is still better than nothing.
These kids are already on Instagram, and telling them “cut yourself off from your support network and join a smaller platform” is not gonna fly well even if it’s the best idea. Pointing them where to go as long as they’re there is a solid strategy.
I was instantly revolted when I read chili and ice cream on the same product because I was imagining frozen beans, but it’s apparently just a bit of the chili spice and some oyster crackers, which are basically like adding a sugarless wafer. Weird but not as deranged as I feared.
I’m sorry, I loved it too! What they did with the time they had was fantastic.

Do you believe what was happening up until now was not genocide? Because if you don’t then calling this an actual genocide makes it seem like you do.
I think the word recorded is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, because TB used to infect something like 70% of the urban population in the US.
