For AQI? I’m not totally sure honestly, I think it’s a combination of particulate matter readings, ozone, carbon monoxide, and a few other chemicals. I don’t know exactly what math is going on to turn that into a number rating, though. I just know “don’t breathe this” when the number is that high 😂

Hmm, who is this Rose fellow?

Michael Rose is a senior resident in internal medicine and pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

The only person The Atlantic could find to peddle this shit isn’t even allowed to practice medicine without supervision? lmao

If you need to keep track of fires the Watch Duty app is great.

https://www.watchduty.org/

Free to use, run by a nonprofit.

Skeets is infinitely funnier, because the user base basically bullied the devs into accepting it.

“Transgenderism” immediately has me like

🚨🚩🚨🚩

Also, “non-serious usage of words like weird” means using it seriously against politicians could be rule violating, while calling someone mentally ill for being gay wouldn’t. 🙃

I can't remember the last time I used cologne or smelled it on another person.

God, I wish that was me. For whatever reason a bunch of people here (but especially people 50 and up as you noted) wear heavy perfume/cologne. I’ll admit to being moderately smell-sensitive, but sometimes even walking 15 or 20 feet behind them will leave me STILL smelling it!

This means lenders will also be barred from using information about medical devices, such as prosthetic limbs, that could be used to require that the devices serve as collateral for a loan for the purposes of repossession.

Anyone that’s ever done this to a person with expensive medical devices? Believe it or not, straight to hell.

Yeah, I could be on Reddit all day if I wanted to… I don’t want to, it’s radioactive at this point. Might as well go frolicking in the dump.

I assumed they were living somewhere that uses dollars when it happened.

Same. I might be able to pick a few of mine out of the yearbook if I had to find their names somehow, but I wouldn’t know them if I saw them now.

I grew up in southern Appalachia and can absolutely hear this exchange taking place 😂
