I guess it depends on what you use your computer for. If you're only doing web browser related surfing and gaming, not a lot of need for it. If you have delicate files that aren't replaceable and aren't backed up already via a cloud service, sure, definitely a good idea to setup a RAID. Have a full blown media server? Yeah, you'd want a RAID. My thing is recommending a RAID to someone that is literally building their first computer is elitist and not being considerate of the person's skill level or understanding of PCs.

Wait...this movie? https://m.imdb.com/title/tt18382850/ Or is there some other movie of a similar title? I always assumed the title was imagery of some sort meaning they are stuck in their current situation or feel helpless or defenseless?
This is what got me. I started a really well paying job so me and the wife decided to splurge on some better, name brand appliances. I've replaced every single one in less than 5 years. Fuck GE, fuck LG, and definitely fuck Samsung.
This is my stance as well. There's data out the ass about how detrimental screen time and social media is for minors. Besides the obvious blame here being on the parents, it's easy to just have something for verification without holding personal data.
Not to mention largely unnecessary single drives have a life span of like...a decade
Try Escape from Duckov! Silly characters but the gameplay really is solid.
I'll second Duckov! I had quite a bit of fun with it and progression is pretty solid.
I'm curious as to why. Granted I don't even think I own a game by Stardock that I'm aware of, but always down for buying more ethically if they've done something heinous
If that's in the movie (the gas flask) it must be a deleted scene or something because I've never seen anything like that. So Things can identify themselves and if in the correct conditions will combine to form a larger creature. Especially the conditions on the end of the movie where survival and not freezing to death are the main concerns. Another established fact in the movie is if there is one Thing and one human it will attack / consume / clone that person. Anyway, def seen it a few times, haha. You should give it a rewatch.
What's really depressing is that things like this will always be just a dream, meanwhile billionaires will never appreciate something like this or do it for the reasons we would.
Honestly part of the fun of the movie. Specifically for the ending though, by what they show, you can assume that neither of them are based on the fact they are the only 2 left. If they both were, then there would be no reason to remain disguised. If one of them was, they could simply kill the other as there's no benefit to remaining disguised. That aside, tracking who is a Thing and who isn't is not simple at all.
Honestly plucking it might be a little painful, but I'd imagine immensely more safe than having a pair of blades close to your eye to try and trim it...
