MOM! Phineas and Ferb are educating the greater Public about the universal benefits of a 4-day work week with no reduction in pay!
I’ve been relatively impressed that the image/emoji generation on my iPhone has all been done on my device. Every time I’ve used it, I’ve checked the “Apple Intelligence” server requests log and it’s always empty (until the one time I asked it to generate a photo memory).
My phone gets pretty hot instantly, then churns through 3% of the battery in a minute but it’s still running on a local system with the local battery.
I want to make some sarcastic comment mocking the expected conservative reaction that ignores all the undeniable signs that this is a targeted hate crime, but I can’t
This is just too sad. 😞
Honestly, it’s clear SCOTUS cares as much about precedent as your average billionaire cares about the livability of the planet 100 years from now so hearing that they’re not going to listen to a case like this is refreshing
Ah, yes, the notoriously accessible and inexpensive field of launching rockets, landing said rocket on a giant sized bullet so a robot can go drill in it for weeks to dig up thousands of pounds of rock, lifting the robot that now weighs significantly more off of the giant bullet, and safely returning it to our larger, slightly slower bullet.
Rick is the bad guy.
I get that people don’t like it for a wide variety of reasons. However, there are 2 things I absolutely adore about it:
-
The combat. Not so much the clunky clicking, but the way it strong-arms you into engaging with the alchemy and bestiary like an actual witcher would have to. Witchers don’t stand a chance against most of the monsters they fight without those stupidly potent potions and acute knowledge of their weaknesses.
-
The atmosphere. The game may be ugly up close, but every single map, every environment oozes with dreary medieval vibes or swampy fantasy. I don’t even think I can say that it’s good “for a low budget game” because the atmosphere stands the test of time. The developers had an idea for how the game should feel as soon as they started designing it and it shows.
I went back to play the first 2 games before replaying the third and finally finishing CP2077 a few years ago because I wanted to see how CDPR’s skills changed, and honestly? They haven’t, at least not in regards to making a game immersive. The only thing that’s changed is the budget and scope of their games because holy hell I’ll be damned if every one of CDPR’s major releases hasn’t been among the most immersive video games ever created.
House is a great one, but only the Teardrop version. It hit the perfect mood for the serious tone of the medical subjects. It also makes me weirdly nostalgic for watching that in the mid-00’s with my family late at night
They still have the morningstar patties if I’m not mistaken
Hire fans lol
Okey dokes good for you but your company’s problems with getting an employee to care are not our problems and they’re probably not even your problems.
Forcing working from the office is nothing more than a means of controlling the working class and fuck that.
