I absolutely do love all the things you named. I feel like in both chocolate and coffee that the milk rounds out flavors to be nice and smooth, but you lose some of detail. Sometimes they both go too far and end up in a sour or bitter mess, but I really enjoy the tastes on the edge of being too far.
Hot showers are just luxury. Put some lotion on after and your skin will be fine.
How far did you go on ensuring you got the cross pollination you wanted? I'm going to try a cross in the fall and am planning on bagging the bud and cutting out the anthers, but that may be overboard.
How hot is it where you're at? I have some overwintered peppers that are still full of fruit that set earlier in the season, but pretty much every flower has fallen off for a while now. High heat doesn't reduce flowering much, but it does dramatically stop fruit production.
If you're in the US, I'm in a hardiness zone of 8b/9a though. We have a very long growing season so I know I'll get a fall harvest as well out of both new and old plants.
