Not defending this from netflix (fuck any corpo), but shouldn't we do the same with Disney? Or Disney being almost a monopoly is fine for whatever reason?

What was a good rate if I may ask? I can talk from 2017 on. Rates in my town are awful (normally, the commission is a 20% either through a fee or through a lower rate that, in the end charges you indirectly), and I know that in other touristic cities, rates are the same or worse.

The ATM's are not the best, but even with their fees, the rate is way better than the windows. Still, the best is to pay directly with card, you won't get a better rate than that.

Talking from Italy:

DO NOT USE THOSE SERVICES! Unless you are in absolute need of quick cash and can't find a better alternative.

I worked for one for a year and it was literally a legal scam.

The rates will be either incredibly bad (because of "no commission") or unbelievably good (because there's a very tiny text saying they'll charge a 20% commission plus a fixed fee.

In italy, shops are forced by law to accept cards, that will surely give you a better exchange rate.

If you absolutely need cash but are not in a hurry, go to a post office. They will give you one of the best rates and charge a very small fee. But they take a day or two to get the money.

If you need it quick, the ATM's that you'll find everywhere will give you a decent rate. Not as good as the post office but certainly better than those exchange windows.

"You don't need to steal it if it doesn't happen!"

Oh, my bad. I meant you should reconsider about her being someone they should listen to because she won't be releasing a new album. Not because she's not a piece of shit anymore!

I have a very simple mindset: hurting others is bad.

That's it. That's all.

But...

I think there is an exception to this: hurting a nazi. By letting a nazi alive, you are endangering other people, as the nazi will hurt others if left free. So even if hurting others is bad, hurting a nazi is in fact good beacuse you prevent damage to innocents. So yeah, hurt a nazi, it's a good thing for you and for others around you.

Same vibes.

Check grapheneos, after locking, they clear the data from memory. Also, after locking, a timer starts, if I don't unlock my phone before the timer runs out, it auto reboots. Now, I don't live in a country where I need to be worried about being searched, but you can bet if I were in the US, that timer would be no longer than 1 hour. Hell, maybe would set it to 10 minutes, just to be sure.

Or autistic. Most definitely autistic.

That's the funny thing. To laugh about something easy being made stupidly complex on linux, you have to go back in time some few years.

To laugh about something easy being made stupidly complex on windows... you just need to update to the last version.

“The difference between Iraq and this is that (the US) didn’t keep the oil. We’re going to keep the oil,” Trump told MS NOW. “In 2016, I said we should have kept the oil. It caused a lot of controversy. Well, we should have kept the oil. And we’re going to rebuild their broken-down oil facilities, and this time we’re going to keep the oil.”

The Senate will vote next week on a bipartisan war powers resolution to block Trump from continuing military against Venezuela — a vote that takes on heightened importance after U.S. forces attacked the South American nation and arrested President Nicolás Maduro early Saturday.

The resolution to block the administration from engaging in further hostilities against Venezuela is privileged, which means Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) cannot stop it from coming to the floor.

The measure is sponsored by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

The move comes amid outcry from Democrats after the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts affixed Trump's name to its sign in Washington.

Donald Trump’s name is being attached to a new class of U.S. battleships that will have nuclear capabilities.

Making the announcement at an event at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Navy Secretary John Phelan referred to the warships as “Trump-class battleships" and said a forthcoming vessel dubbed the USS Defiant will be “the largest, deadliest and most versatile and best-looking warship anywhere on the world’s oceans.”

Trump’s eponymous battleships will be armed with guns and missiles, as well as hypersonic weapons, electronic rail guns and high-powered lasers.
