I'm honestly not thrilled with the finish. I thought I'd sanded out all the little 'scales' the planer leaves, but many came back when I put the oil on.

Personally, I've never connected my LG OLED to the internet and it works just great.
Looks like a lot of info is shared through the manufacturer's app which interacts with the car. Easy to avoid if you don't install the app.
What we're all here looking to avoid is the car itself uploading data. The article isn't as clear about that, I guess since it depends so much on your exact model of vehicle.

I had to update my BIOS a while ago and it set TPM back to disabled as default. Voila. No Windows 11 prompts because, as far as it can tell, I do not meet the requirements.

I hate to say it, but it's probably an acceptable amount of flatness for a jobsite saw. I'm willing to bet their cast iron offerings have better tolerances. You do have the safety features, though.
I was cleaning out an old bookshelf and came across this 2003 Grizzly catalog. Coincidentally, I'd just received a 2023 mailer. I was shocked by the increases in price.
Some highlights:
Standard 14" band saw: $375 vs. $800
Standard 6" jointer: $400 vs. $900
4-piece Bessey K-body clamp set: $150 vs. $350
I know nothing about how inflation works, so I'm not sure whether this tracks with the price of bread or whatever, but it was eye-opening.
Initially I used my commercial bevel gauge, but the blade was long enough to interfere with the swing of the brace, plus it needed to be taped down for stability.
This gizmo I made from scrap should solve both of those problems.
