Copyright didn't help him since he never made any money off his own work, what discussion is there to have? Why would someone without anything they need to protect, care. Ofc he doesn't like copyright

What are the issues with python if anyone knows? Is it a bigger issue with scaling up or will it get significantly slower as they add more features? People mention how its bad but they just assume people know why.

india loves israel because they helped them consolidate their power, toppled the last of the sikh empire, punjab still doesnt have water rights, ima bring it up whenever since wikipedia says it was an alleged massacre and only like 100 ppl died when eye witness accounts say 1000s, but ppl trust the government here for some reason

They desginated sikhs a warrior race/caste, made them their body guards, then werenlike hey we're gonna go kill your people protect us lol

[–] 3dmvr@lemm.ee 1 points 4 weeks ago

Well that was because irsrael trained indian military to do operation bluestar where they massacred hella civilians at the golden temple to get to one dude, which is what they do now lol

[–] 3dmvr@lemm.ee 1 points 4 weeks ago

Why do you feel the need to misinterpret what people say on purpose lol

The shotoer didn't miss, the tech deflected it away from trump. They know It works forsure now so they've gotten bolder with their actions.

I just learned little nemo adventures in slumberland is based off a comic. Loved that feverdream movie as a kid, doesn't really holdup as an adult because of the annoying side characters sadly.

Went 20 years not knowing it was based off a comic book.

Like td you can set certain variables if it hits this frequency do this, if its this loud do this, can any dj software do that with nodes? So you can have procedural setups for mixing music that you can manually tweak or have presets?

Like is there a touch designer for playing with audio and effecting the audio not making visuals basically?

I'm assuming apocalypse does something like this? (going off the movie where he evolves/upgrades some mutants)

I already know of dr manhattan, just read Divinity from Valiant and really enjoyed it's take on a human -> godlike being. Specifically where they have and exert power over reality, rather than just having more energy to pew at a higher scale.

I always find godlike stories more intresting when it isn't just them fighting at a grander scale and they actually use godlike powers to manipulate reality. Also when they start off as humans, arent born gods and haven't already existed forever.

Basically just needs layers and the ability to place, resize, etc. stickers?

Stores so filled with random trash these days, ik more than a few decent options must exist.

Id personally like literature/imagination materialization. The whole concept of powers not being controllable, manifesting beings more powerful than yourself really appeals to me.

For artifacts the H dial is my favorite. I love seeing different unique powers, outfits, etc. and always liked the idea of following the same person with different powers everytime they tried to use them.

Since selfhosted clouds seem to be the most common thing ppl host, i'm wondering what else ppl here are selfhosting. Is anyone making use of something like excalidraw in the workplace? Curious about what apps that would be useful to always access over the web that aren't mediaservers.

I'ved tried a decent amount (caprover, cosmoscloud, dokploy, coolify, yunohost, etc.) and there always seems to be more around the corner . Right now I like runtipi, tho I have some issues (komga cant detect my media folder), it's been the easiest for me to quickly try out many different selfhostable apps on one server. I didn't know many of these apps existed, there are so many different useful and entertaining ones for different niches/jobs.

Whats your favorite self hosting manager thats capable of one-quick installs through an appstore of some kind? Which one do you think is the easiest to use for non technical users? I'm leaning towards Yunohost for ease of use and setup, but a lot of stuff was out of date. Downside is it doesn't seem nearly as easy as the others to setup/manage apps yourself if you dont go the appstore route. Runtipi did recentlly make it so people can make and share repos for the appstore, tho I believe cosmos cloud and a few others already have had this as an option.

Thought project superpowers was a fun read, reslly like the idea of modern writers/artists bringing now public domain superheroes back to life

(only a few of the MANY are pictured here.

Or give life to inanimate objects? Was rewatching doom patrol and I really love the concept of bringing imaginary characters like gods/monsters to life being a power or pulling inworld comic book characters off the page and bringing them to life like flex mentallo?
