There's a Discord for the Facebook group Normie Has-Beens that is pretty chill and leftist and lgbt+ friendly
hextube is the chat instance I lnow of,
seems like that's just used for watching stuff? I don't really see average conversations going on a lot there but I could be wrong
That's what it's become, but it was (and is still late at night) a place for friendly chatting.
