I see that the middle layer is not sticking perfectly to the to layer. May I suggest using some non-toxic glue next time? I've read it's very effective.
Looks delicious! What kind of cake is it?
I don't know if it has a name but it's basically a sponge cake with custard cream topped with gooseberry jelly mixed with apple slices. Also it's sprinkled with roasted coconut flakes.
Sounds fantastic, I'll have to try to make that if I find a recipe.
