what possible non-genocidal reason could Israel have to control rafah

They want to make sure all the Palestinians stay in Palestine because next week is Palestine's birthday and Isreal is throwing a huge surprise party! There's enough cake and pizza for everyone - they hope everyone is coming hungry! /s

Yea, probably the genocide one.

I believe It's the last area on the surface they haven't cleared of Hamas yet. Rockets have been fired from Rafah.

I’d imagine they want to investigate and destroy any tunnel exits that come in from Sinai. Fully expect them to do so by leveling much of the city, but I have read that a lot of Hamas smuggling comes through the southern border of Gaza.

A country even more cucked than America by Israel is Egypt.

The Egyptian government only is in power because of US and Israeli support. Sisi is a worse dictator than Mubarak and he knows he'll get the Ghaddafi treatment if he is out of power.

The US on the other hand wants to be cucked. In particular the Dems want to be cucked as Bibi takes their money, their weapons and their dignity while openly endorsing the Reps.

Yeah, um, the prior Gov. was a problem for the US so they went back to their tried and true supporting dictators to maintain control. Just as they did when Mubarak came to power. Just as they did all across South America. Why was anyone shocked?
