Which Lemmy App is Stable Like Jerboa but has "Hide Read Post" Feature? (and no not the lemmy built-in setting to hide read posts).

I've tried Infinity and Sync but they're unstable (closes out when posting comments, posts, viewing context, etc.) which rarely happens in Jerboa.

Hmm I've been using sync for lemmy from when it was released but it never closed on me when commenting or posting anything. Didn't have any crashes in matter of fact.

But anyway try going to the instance home website, login and under settings remove the checkmark "show read post". Maybe that will work for Jerboa?

Sync works fine here. Have you tried running the latest version? There was an update today with a lot of bug fixes.

Connect for Lemmy has that and seems pretty stable.

ironic that while posting this using Jerboa, it raised an error (Network Error).

[-] Cris_Color@lemm.ee 3 points 9 months ago

I think network errors are more likely to be caused by the server you're connecting to than the app you're using to connect to them

Seconding Voyager. Nothing has been buggy at all in my weeks of using it daily.

Connect for Lemmy has this and has been working great

Infinity for lemmy has this, but it's still in its early stages so has a few bugs. I use it tho

Sync ic cluncky

stability is not too important for me but i use wefwef/voyager and thunder

wefwef/voyager does use more bandwith than thunder

[-] jungekatz@hexbear.net 3 points 9 months ago

Have you tried thunder yet ? It has that feature and is very stable . Connect is good too but idk if they have that ft !

Maybe Photon?

What's the difference? I don't understand what they do that Jerboa doesn't.
