If you don't vote, you suck. No excuses. If you saw how narrow the margins in certain states were in 2020 you have literally no excuse. This is your civic duty. This is life and death for our queer friends and family. I don't want to hear shit about waiting in line. GET OFF YOUR ASS AND VOTE.

You aren't wrong about scotus not being able to create laws, but they have seen a ton of cases regarding them. Allen vs. Milligan is the most recent I could google.
