[Alt Text: Comic featuring a human asking a little blue dude (smurf) if "so... Since smurfette is the only female smurf... Does that mean you all have to... You know..." while touching the tips of their pointer fingers together, typically signaling shyness.

Next panel just shows a smurf saying, "oh! Ha ha. Of course not. We reproduce like any other parasite."

Next panel shows a collection of smurfs walking around the human who is now seemingly dead and is now covered in a bunch of growths that look like smurfs.

So I knew smurfs were asexual but seeing this post made me question if parasites can be asexual. Yes, they can be. Anyway all that to say, why does this question keep popping up in my life.

Have you tried being asexual? Maybe you are the next step in human evolution!

Henchman 24: Come on! They have one female servicing a large group of males. That implies a species that lays eggs.

Henchman 21: Oh my God, you're crazy! They're so obviously mammals!

Henchman 24: Please! She'd be in estrus 24/7 if she didn't lay eggs.

Henchman 21: Smurfs don't lay eggs! I won't tell you this again! Papa Smurf has a fucking beard! They're mammals!
