I recently finished the game suddenly and found a (secret?) continue possibility.
You keep everything and all permanent debuffs and do not get any bonuses, though.
That's a bug, thanks for reporting. Should be fixed with the next update!
Insomnia mode is hardmode. It looks good on the surface and has a few niche builds, but it comes with pretty severe stat penalties overall especially the sanity reduction.
What is XP in this metaphor? Learning stuff twice as fast?
Honestly? Didn't think that far ahead. Could be growing up twice as fast, but you might not want that. Could be learning things, in which case yay, but underwhelming. Could also be job/life experience, learning important lessons early to prevent making stupid mistakes?
